Introduction
I put my 45's on tape. I have music from 1954-60's. My older brother bought the 50's records and then I started in the 60's. I haven't found better music to listen and dance to that has the spirit that these decades brought to the world. Love 'em!
When you think of 60's 70's and 80's music, who are the first groups/artist's that come to mind and what songs? What kind of impact has this made on your life today?

The Shirelles, Beatles-too many to list. The impact is I could care less about my age when I hear this music. I was glad to be alive in the 60's. Eh, There was Woodstock. I visit there every year.

When you listen to music, do some songs bring you back to another place and time? Do certain lyrics make you pensive and suddenly you realize you're in the moment, or do you space out and lose perspective of thought and time?

I remember more free-spirited pleasures when it was safer to be the Flower child.

I play piano, sing(when alone), & listen to rock all the time. I enjoy expressing myself through music. Imagine you are a musician - what you enjoy most about it is
