Introduction: The last time I sang karaoke was at my brother's wedding where I scandalized the old aunts by belting out a decidedly anti-relationship anthem, "I Will Survive." I like karaoke, just haven't done it in a while. Love older songs too.
When you think of 60's 70's and 80's music, who are the first groups/artist's that come to mind and what songs? What kind of impact has this made on your life today?: Beatles, Eagles - wait, I think the Eagles are from the '70s.
When you listen to music, do some songs bring you back to another place and time? Do certain lyrics make you pensive and suddenly you realize you're in the moment, or do you space out and lose perspective of thought and time?: Sure, music has that kind of power. Now, I'm ready to hear, sing and feel the music!
I play piano, sing(when alone), & listen to rock all the time. I enjoy expressing myself through music. Imagine you are a musician - what you enjoy most about it is: the sheer happiness that comes from singing.
